NASA's International Space Station : stunning video of ISS sighting from Shimla

The ISS, which is seen as a bright shining star moving at a high speed, was spotted on November 26 was seen in Shimla for a minute at 5:30AM, for a minute at 6:37PM and again at 7:06PM. NASA has also made it easy to stay informed about these sightings along with the date and time of spotting. According to the website, the ISS will be seen in Shimla for more than a minute, everyday. On November 27, you can see it at 6:45PM and at 7:20PM. On November 28, you can see it at 6:27PM.

It is here to mention that ISS revolves around the earth at a distance just 400 kilometers, and at a speed of at 8 km/second. In other words, it revolves around the earth 15 times in a day. Revolving from such a closer distance is the reason that people can manage to take a gaze at the space station in naked eye itself.

There is some real reason to delight for the space enthusiasts. ISS, the space station of NASA is evident from Shimla these days, which is in fact expected to continue till 6th December this year. This has added one more reason for the tourists to be crazy about Shimla. The space station can be witnessed as a bright glowing star passing at a significant speed. Well, ISS has been seen at different other destinations over the globe, apart from India. It started seen at Shimla since 21st November. Indeed, Shimla is the first and only destination India, where one can witness ISS.
